Description

All the flavors of a Big Mac in a quick and easy sloppy joe — cheesy, tangy, and ready in 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely diced

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

6 hamburger buns, toasted

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp yellow mustard

2 tsp pickle relish

½ tsp white vinegar

¼ tsp paprika

¼ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp onion powder

Sliced pickles

Shredded lettuce

Instructions

1. Whisk together mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder for the sauce.

2. Cook beef and onion until browned; drain grease.

3. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

4. Add shredded cheddar cheese; stir until melted.

5. Toast buns lightly.

6. Spread sauce on buns, add beef mixture, pickles, and lettuce.

7. Serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter option, use ground turkey or chicken.

Make the sauce ahead — it tastes even better after chilling.

Store leftovers up to 3 days or freeze up to 3 months.
