Description
This brown sugar latte recipe is cozy, sweet, and easy to make at home. Perfect for mornings or an afternoon treat.
Ingredients
1–2 tbsp brown sugar
½ cup strong brewed coffee or 1–2 shots espresso
¾ cup milk (any kind)
½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of cinnamon or sea salt (optional)
Instructions
1. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, vanilla, and a splash of water. Heat until dissolved.
2. Add hot coffee or espresso and stir.
3. Warm milk separately, then froth until creamy.
4. Pour brown sugar coffee base into mug.
5. Top with frothy milk and optional spices.
Notes
Use dark brown sugar for deeper flavor.
Store extra syrup in fridge for up to 7 days.
Great iced or served with cinnamon on top.
