Description

Buffalo Ranch Cream Cheese Pretzel is a soft baked pretzel stuffed with creamy buffalo ranch filling, perfect for parties, game days, and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 cups warm water

1 packet active dry yeast

1 tablespoon sugar

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons melted butter

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup buffalo sauce

1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix

1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

8 cups water (for baking soda bath)

1/2 cup baking soda

2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)

Coarse pretzel salt

Instructions

1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.

2. Add flour, salt, and melted butter; mix and knead until smooth and elastic.

3. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 45–60 minutes until doubled.

4. Mix softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch seasoning, and shredded cheese until smooth.

5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

6. Divide dough into portions, flatten, add filling, seal tightly, and shape into pretzels.

7. Bring water to a boil, add baking soda carefully, and dip each pretzel for 20–30 seconds.

8. Place on baking sheet and bake 12–15 minutes until golden brown.

9. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse salt before serving.

Notes

Seal the dough edges tightly to prevent filling from leaking.

Adjust buffalo sauce for desired spice level.

Light cream cheese can be used for a lighter version.

Best served warm for maximum creaminess.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
