Caramel Pecan Lasagna Squares are a layered dessert with buttery shortbread, creamy caramel pudding, and crunchy pecans for an unforgettable treat.
Ingredients
170 g unsalted butter
55 g brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
125 g flour
60 g toasted pecans
225 g cream cheese
120 g powdered sugar
360 g whipped topping
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 x 110 g caramel pudding mix
710 ml cold milk
100 g chopped pecans
100 g brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
70 ml caramel sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease a 23×33 cm dish.
2. Mix butter, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and flour. Stir in pecans.
3. Bake for 18-20 min until golden. Cool completely.
4. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and vanilla. Spread over crust.
5. Whisk pudding with milk. Spread over cream cheese layer.
6. Top with whipped topping.
7. Cook pecans with sugar and cinnamon for 5 min to candy. Cool.
8. Sprinkle candied pecans and drizzle caramel sauce. Chill 3-4 hrs before serving.
Notes
Cool crust fully before layering.
Chill between steps for clean layers.
