Creamy Chicken Pillows wrapped in crescent dough, baked golden, and served with rich gravy — the ultimate easy comfort meal.
Ingredients
2 cups cooked shredded chicken
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 Tbsp butter, softened
1/2 Tbsp dried chives
1/2 Tbsp dried minced onion
Salt & pepper to taste
1 can crescent roll dough
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 packet chicken gravy mix
3/4 cup water
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking sheet.
2. Mix chicken, cream cheese, butter, chives, onion, salt, and pepper.
3. Unroll dough, form 4 rectangles, and fill each with chicken mixture.
4. Fold and seal the dough to form pillows.
5. Dip each in melted butter and coat with breadcrumbs.
6. Bake 22–25 minutes until golden brown.
7. Meanwhile, prepare gravy with soup, gravy mix, and water.
8. Serve hot pillows with gravy on top.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
Try mushroom or turkey gravy for variation.
To freeze, assemble unbaked pillows and store for up to 2 months.
