Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1½ cups buttermilk
2 large eggs
¼ cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup butter (melted)
⅓ cup light brown sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
¾ cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla
Instructions
1. Whisk dry ingredients in one bowl.
2. Whisk wet ingredients in another bowl, then combine gently.
3. Mix cinnamon swirl ingredients and pour into a piping bag.
4. Cook waffles in preheated iron, adding cinnamon swirl on top.
5. Beat cream cheese with sugar, milk, and vanilla for topping.
6. Serve waffles warm with cream drizzle.
Notes
Substitute buttermilk with milk + lemon juice.
Use gluten-free flour if needed.
