Description
A high-protein, microwave-ready chocolate lava cake made with cottage cheese. Gooey, rich, and ready in 90 seconds.
Ingredients
1/2 cup cottage cheese
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp chocolate protein powder
1 egg
1 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Add cottage cheese, cocoa powder, protein powder, and egg to a microwave-safe mug or bowl.
2. Stir until mostly smooth (or blend if desired).
3. Stir in chocolate chips and microwave for 90 seconds.
4. Let cool for 1 minute before enjoying.
Notes
You can blend the batter for a smoother texture or leave it chunky.
Top with Greek yogurt, whipped cream, or berries.
Use any flavor of protein powder you enjoy.
