Description
A quick, high-protein, crustless pizza bowl made with cottage cheese, pizza sauce, and mozzarella. Ready in about 20 minutes — perfect for an easy, satisfying meal.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups cottage cheese (fat-free or low-fat)
1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup pizza sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
Optional toppings: pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, spinach
Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, Parmesan, and pizza sauce. Stir until blended.
2. Fold in 1/4 cup mozzarella; reserve the rest for topping.
3. Transfer to a 16-ounce oven-safe dish. Top with remaining mozzarella and any toppings you like.
4. Oven: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, then broil 2 minutes for golden cheese.
5. Air Fryer: 350°F (175°C) for 10–15 minutes.
6. Microwave: Heat 1 minute, stir, top with cheese, microwave 1 more minute.
7. Cool slightly to thicken and enjoy hot.
Notes
Use low-moisture cottage cheese to prevent a watery texture.
Blend cottage cheese before mixing for a smooth, ricotta-like consistency.
