Ingredients
12 ounces penne pasta
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
3–4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until fully cooked and golden. Remove and slice.
4. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
5. Add chicken broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
6. Stir in heavy cream and cook until slightly thickened.
7. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
8. Return pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Adjust Cajun seasoning to control spice level.
Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
Add bell peppers, spinach, or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrition.
Use low-sodium broth to reduce overall sodium content.
