Ingredients
12 oz linguine
1 lb ground beef
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 small yellow onion, diced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
½ cup reserved pasta water
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook linguine in salted water until al dente; reserve ½ cup water.
2. Melt butter, sauté garlic and onion.
3. Add ground beef and brown completely.
4. Pour in cream; stir and simmer.
5. Add Parmesan and stir until creamy.
6. Toss pasta with sauce; add pasta water if needed.
7. Garnish and serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture.
Swap ground beef for turkey or plant-based meat.
Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
