Description
A rich and creamy salmon pasta dish made with butter, cream, Parmesan, and flaky salmon. Quick to prepare and perfect for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
8 oz pasta (penne, linguine, or fettuccine)
2 tbsp butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
6 oz salmon (fresh or canned)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
3. Add chopped onion and sauté for 4–5 minutes.
4. Add salmon and cook until flaky, about 5–7 minutes.
5. Stir in cream, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
6. Add cooked pasta and toss everything together.
7. Add Parmesan cheese and mix until melted.
8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Use light cream for a lighter version.
You can substitute fresh salmon with canned or smoked salmon.
Add spinach, peas, or sun-dried tomatoes for variation.
