Ingredients
8 oz penne pasta
1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 lb sirloin steak, cubed
2 Tbsp blackened seasoning
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 small yellow onion, diced
2 tsp minced garlic
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
2 Tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Cook pasta until al dente; reserve some water.
2. Season shrimp and sear in oil until pink; remove.
3. Season steak and sear in butter; remove.
4. Sauté onion and garlic, add cream, simmer.
5. Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
6. Add pasta to sauce, toss to coat.
7. Return shrimp and steak, stir, garnish with parsley.
Notes
Swap half cream with milk for lighter sauce.
Use chicken or tofu instead of steak.
Adjust seasoning for milder flavor.
