Description
Soft sugar cookies dipped in chocolate and decorated like snowmen—fun, festive, and perfect for holiday baking.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup confectioners’ sugar
1½ sticks unsalted butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1¼ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
¾ cup white baking chips
½ cup orange candy melts
2 tsp coconut oil
½ cup white sprinkles or nonpareils
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets.
2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
4. Beat in egg and vanilla.
5. Add dry mixture and combine into dough.
6. Roll dough into balls; flatten slightly.
7. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges set.
8. Cool completely on racks.
9. Melt chocolates and candy melts with oil.
10. Dip tops in chocolate; decorate as snowmen.
11. Add sprinkles before chocolate sets.
12. Let set and store airtight.
Notes
Use dairy-free butter and chocolate for vegan version.
Freeze baked cookies up to 2 months.
Decorate with candies, icing, or food markers for variety.
