Easy Dump and Go Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings is a creamy, comforting slow cooker meal made with tender shredded chicken, hearty vegetables, and fluffy biscuit dumplings.
Ingredients
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cups chicken broth
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
1 small onion, diced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Place chicken in the slow cooker.
2. Add soup, broth, vegetables, onion, and seasonings.
3. Cover and cook on LOW 6–8 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
4. Shred the chicken directly in the crockpot.
5. Cut biscuit dough into quarters and place on top.
6. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour until dumplings are cooked through.
7. Gently stir and serve warm.
Notes
Use low-sodium broth for a lighter option.
Add extra vegetables for more fiber and nutrition.
Do not stir dumplings while cooking to keep them fluffy.
For freezing, store without dumplings for best texture.
