Easy Ham Cheese Puff Pastry is a flaky, golden treat filled with savory ham and melted cheese — perfect for snacks or gatherings.
Ingredients
2 sheets frozen puff pastry (thawed, 17.3 oz)
10 oz sliced deli ham
8 oz Gruyère cheese slices
2.7 fl oz Dijon mustard (optional)
1 large egg, whisked
Everything bagel seasoning (optional)
Instructions
1. Thaw puff pastry for 30 minutes.
2. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Roll and cut pastry into 12 rectangles.
4. Brush edges with egg wash and spread Dijon mustard in the center.
5. Add one slice of cheese and one slice of ham.
6. Fold corners to the center and press to seal.
7. Brush tops with egg and sprinkle seasoning.
8. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and puffed.
9. Cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Substitute ham with turkey or mushrooms for a pork-free version.
Swap Gruyère for cheddar or mozzarella.
Freeze unbaked pastries for later and bake from frozen.
