Description
A rich, creamy mushroom sauce with tangy Gorgonzola and aromatic truffle oil. Perfect for pasta, meat, or veggies.
Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup Gorgonzola cheese
1 tbsp white truffle oil
1/2 tsp thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Heat oil or butter in a skillet.
2. Add mushrooms and sauté until golden, about 6 minutes.
3. Pour in cream and add Gorgonzola cheese.
4. Stir until melted and smooth.
5. Remove from heat, stir in truffle oil and thyme.
6. Season to taste and serve immediately.
Notes
Use a mix of mushrooms for deeper flavor.
Add truffle oil after removing from heat to preserve aroma.
Serve over pasta, steak, or roasted vegetables.
