Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan.
2. Mix melted butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
3. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until combined.
4. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
5. Spread most brownie batter in pan and top with cheesecake mixture.
6. Drop remaining brownie batter on top and swirl gently.
7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until edges are set.
8. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth texture.
Do not overbake to keep brownies fudgy.
Chill before slicing for clean edges.
