Ingredients
1 small red onion
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons white distilled vinegar
2 teaspoons date syrup
1 teaspoon fine salt
Instructions
1. Thinly slice the red onion to about ⅛ inch.
2. Place in a bowl and add olive oil, vinegar, date syrup, and salt.
3. Toss well to coat all slices evenly.
4. Let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
5. Serve or store in an airtight jar for up to 1 week.
Notes
