Description

A simple, creamy, and nostalgic sandwich just like the one served at Augusta during the Masters.

Ingredients

Scale

12 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and finely grated

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tsp. yellow mustard

1 Tbsp. finely chopped dill pickle

1 tsp. kosher salt

1 tsp. fresh cracked pepper

10 slices white bread, crusts removed

Instructions

1. Combine eggs, mayo, mustard, dill pickle, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.

2. Use a fork to mash and mix until smooth.

3. Spread egg mixture evenly on 5 slices of bread.

4. Top with the remaining bread slices.

5. Cut each sandwich into quarters.

6. Serve immediately or refrigerate.

Notes

Store egg salad mixture separately from bread to avoid sogginess.

Add chives or paprika for subtle variations.

Best served cold.
