Description
A gooey, buttery, and rich pecan pie dump cake recipe layered with pie filling, cake mix, and pecans. No mixing required—just dump, bake, and enjoy!
Ingredients
1 box yellow cake mix
1 can (21 oz) pecan pie filling
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: cinnamon, chocolate chips, toffee bits
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Layer pecan pie filling evenly in the dish.
3. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the filling.
4. Evenly dump the dry yellow cake mix on top.
5. Drizzle melted butter over the surface to coat most of the mix.
6. Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
7. Let rest 10–15 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Add a drizzle of caramel or bourbon for an extra rich twist.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.
