Description
Pepperoni Pizza Caesar Wraps are a fun, fast weeknight meal combining gooey pizza flavors with crisp Caesar salad in a wrap.
Ingredients
2 tortilla wraps
1/3 cup marinara sauce
3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup turkey pepperoni
2 cups caesar salad mix
Instructions
1. Place tortillas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
2. Spread a thin, even layer of marinara sauce across the center of each tortilla.
3. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the sauce, followed by a layer of pepperoni.
4. Place the baking sheet under the broiler on the bottom rack and cook for a few minutes, until the cheese melts and the pepperoni crisps up.
5. Carefully remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
6. Meanwhile, toss your Caesar salad mix in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Once the tortillas are cool, add a generous scoop of Caesar salad onto each pizza tortilla.8. Roll each one up like a wrap and serve immediately.
Notes
Best enjoyed immediately while salad is crisp.
For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon or sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
