Description
A sweet, spicy, and creamy pizza topped with sausage, ricotta, mozzarella, and drizzled hot honey.
Ingredients
1 lb pizza dough or 2 naan flatbreads
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
1/4 cup honey
1–2 tsp chili flakes
Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 475°F.
2. Brush crust with olive oil and spread pizza sauce.
3. Add mozzarella, sausage, and dollops of ricotta.
4. Bake 12–15 minutes until crust is golden.
5. Warm honey with chili flakes and drizzle over pizza.
6. Top with basil, slice, and serve.
Notes
Swap pork sausage with chicken or tofu.
Use low-fat ricotta or gluten-free crust if preferred.
Add more chili flakes for extra spice.
