Description
Creamy Southern Maple Sweet Potato Casserole topped with pecans and marshmallows, a sweet and comforting side dish for holidays or family dinners.
Ingredients
4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
½ cup pure maple syrup
¼ cup melted butter
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp salt
½ cup chopped pecans
¼ cup brown sugar
1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
1. Boil sweet potatoes until tender.
2. Mash with maple syrup, butter, milk, vanilla, and spices.
3. Spread mixture in a greased baking dish.
4. Combine pecans and brown sugar; sprinkle on top.
5. Add marshmallows and bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes until golden.
Notes
Use real maple syrup for authentic flavor.
Can be made dairy-free or vegan.
Store leftovers refrigerated for 4 days.
