Description
Flaky, cheesy Spicy Jalapeño Popper Twists with cream cheese, cheddar, and jalapeños — an easy appetizer ready in under 40 minutes.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
2 jalapeños, finely sliced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 large egg, beaten
1 tbsp melted butter (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Combine cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, and garlic powder.
3. Spread filling on half the pastry; fold and press to seal.
4. Cut into 1-inch strips and twist each one.
5. Place on baking sheet; brush with egg wash.
6. Bake 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
For less spice, remove jalapeño seeds.
Use plant-based alternatives for vegan version.
Serve warm with ranch or sour cream dip.
