Ingredients

Scale

4 medium russet potatoes

4 wooden skewers

3 tbsp melted butter or olive oil

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

2 tbsp grated Parmesan or nutritional yeast

1 tsp dried herbs

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Wash potatoes, insert skewer lengthwise.

3. Cut spiral around potato, spacing evenly.

4. Stretch potato gently along skewer.

5. Brush with butter or oil; season generously.

6. Bake 35–40 minutes or fry 3–5 minutes until golden.

7. Sprinkle extra cheese and herbs; serve hot.

Notes

Use sweet potatoes for variety.

Olive oil instead of butter for dairy-free.

Add chili powder for a spicy kick.

Serve with garlic aioli, ketchup, or ranch dip.
